The Carlin family owns the Island Trading Post in Cedar Key, FL. The family's business has served as a staple of Dock Street for an amazing 14 years. The Carlin's have made great friends in Cedar Key who have become like family. In 2024, Hurricanes and a Fire devastated the Carlin's Cedar key home and business. Much of Dock Street, the beating heart of town and its commercial center, were destroyed. After narrowly avoiding being flooded out by Hurricanes, the fire at the Carlin family's business burned much of the shop with plumes of smoke filling the whole of the building resulting in all the merchandise and equipment at the business being a total loss.
The Carlin Family and all of Dock Street are working hard to preserve, standing ever "Cedar Key Strong" but could really use some help from friends, collogues, family members, and all of those who have a special place in their heart for Cedar Key.
